Meet our Amazing Members Barbara and Bill Fenton! Mr. and Mrs. Fenton recently joined this June to enjoy retirement, make new friends, and to get in better physical condition.
Barbara moved to Sacramento with her family in 1966 when her father, a doctor, was transferred to the new Kaiser Hospital. Bill moved to Sacramento in 2002 when he met and married Barbara. Barbara attended Sacramento High School, Sacramento City College (AA), California State University Sacramento (BA), and California State University Sacramento (MPPA). She retired after a 30-year career in Probation and Local Corrections. Barbara started her career as a Probation Officer with Sacramento County, after finishing her Graduate degree, she worked for the State of California at the Board of State and Community Corrections. Bill grew up in Denver, Colorado and moved to the Los Angeles area during college, graduated from California State University Northridge (BA & MA). He recently retired as the Chief Probation Officer in the County of Colusa and threw a wonderful retirement party at the Club.
Barbara and Bill both believe that “Arden Hills is a great place for conditioning and training”. They both love to utilize the facilities for HIIT and yoga classes, as well as for the weight machines. Their favorite part of being a Member is the availability of activities, full service, the proximity to their home, and the ambiance. In their spare time, you can find Barbara and Bill relaxing, traveling, wine tasting, and enjoying outdoor activities such as paddle boarding, bicycling, and hiking. They describe Arden Hills as being a very inviting place that is full of activities and friendly service.
We are so overjoyed with Barbara and Bills love of the Club and are glad they have become a part of our community here at Arden Hills. Thank you for being such an Amazing Member!
