New Addition to Sac Synchro Coaching Staff: Annabelle Orme

Sac Synchro welcomes 2008 Olympian and international medalist titleholder, Annabelle Orme, to its coaching staff. Coach Annabelle brings a wealth of experience and deepens the national and international experience of Sac Synchro’s coaching staff, which features medalists:

  • Heather Wartanyan (national Grand Masters titleholder and medalist)
  • Kaitlin Staines (12 national titles and former Junior World Team member and World Championship Competitor)
  • Jennifer Bonacorso (former USA National Team member and multiple international titleholder)

Coach Annabelle’s positive coaching style, ability to connect with athletes, and extensive experience will help guide Sac Synchro towards increasing its competitiveness, whether it’s at the Junior Olympics, the National Championships, or in qualifying its most elite athletes to USA Synchro national teams.

Coach Annabelle swam on the USA Junior National Team for two years, winning her first international medal, a silver, in duet at the 2004 FINA World Junior Championships in Moscow, Russia. From 2005-2007 Annabelle swam and traveled with the Senior National Team, representing the U.S. in the team, duet, and combo routines. Career highlights include 4th in team at 2006 FINA World Championships, 1st in combo at FINA World Trophy Cup, a bronze medal in combo at 2007 FINA World Championships, and a gold medal at the 2007 Pan American Games, qualifying her team for the 2008 Summer Olympic Games. In 2008, Annabelle achieved her life-long dream of representing her country in the Olympics, finishing 5th in the team in Beijing.

We are excited to add Annabelle to our staff and look forward to the great experiences the athletes will share and the results they are going to accomplish!
